if my memory serves me correctly Rudi expressed concerns about SOL BKW several years ago
the purchase of MLT did seem expensive yet here we are after a year the outperformance of the market in the last year by both has been breathtaking. (ie. graph comparing to STW). BKW 10% higher than SOL.
if the pattern of outperformance was a once off you would be selling but they outperform over decades. l think private equity is the way to go and prefer it over listed investments.
for serious investors in BKW SOL the holdings are not dominating portfolios. l'd rather have my portfolio dominated by diversified investment houses than CSL CBA...
