They warned about slowing sales in Nov last year but I think they'll downgrade again. I think the situation will keep deteriorating. As long as they keep jacking up prices, people will take notice and seek alternatives.
In my case: I've been buying KFC's "Burger Combo Deluxe" and over the past year, and it's gone from $7.45 (Mar 22), $8.45 (Sept 22) , $8.95 (Dec 22) to $9.95 today (Mar 23). It's too much, too fast. The prices rises up to Dec last year were still tolerable, but the last two hikes tips the scales in favor of whipping up something quick and tasty at home instead.
They've lost me as a customer for the forseeable future. I'm sure plenty of others think the same way.
