there is no good news because the new owners has to take 1.6b debt that is talked in market plus make money and if healthscope was making money then it wouldn't have to remove CEO and Chairman in same week ?
so the new business owner possibly put low ball offer to purchase and have to make negotiation with landlord on discount rent (even though HCW said they have no appetite for discount) and if the numbers doesn't work out then Brookfield has to write off healthscope or take low ball offer.
there are REIT providing yield similar to HCW and without healthscope as their tenants so why risk in HCW ? Remember Brookfield is multi billion dollar company while poster here probably wages earner ...! So make your call how much risk you take !
there are so many funds, LIC in the market who would have taken over HCW at this price if risk was less then the Opportunity some see based on discount to nta.
