_Taking_ what you think is a water sample and _recovering_ gas and water when you crack the chamber are two different things. Until you blow down the chamber you're relying on log interp, pressure data and CFA data to gauge what is most likely in the chamber.

Lets look at the facts:

- intention was to grab a water sample
- log interp was indicating PA is water wet with residual gas
- No CFA or resistivity data but they pumped 200L while watching the resistivity readings so obviously they were aiming to get formation water flowing before they took the sample.
- they chose to sample using the MRSC chamber rather than MPSR/SPMC bottles. Usually when you're after a water sample and PVT analysis of a gas/liquids is not planned youd use an MRSC....its possibly the chamber run as an exit port on the tool for low shock sampling.
- gas probably not showing on CFA because it was in solution under pressure
- photo of the blow down of the chamber clearly shows water and gas slugging trough the line from drain valve to the separator
- gas was recovered and analyzed and indicates its dry. usually the gas when youre dealing with residual gas in water wet zone.
