You are really this daft aren't you? I actually do believe the hydrocarbons are movable and I believe that if they fail to get a sample to surface there will be enough believers that they will be able to raise funds albeit at a much lower sp with lots of dilution.

What you fail to understand is there are no guarantees. What is the macro environment goes to shit. Might be even harder to raise funds then if they fail to get samples to surface?
