I am more confident now than I was yesterday as all the questions I put yesterday were answered today.
I speculated that there was an outside issue as to why the sampling tools failed.
They have blundered this well Imo. It’s pretty clear that the last 300m have caused all sorts of grief higher up.
We are back where we started with Mk1 too high mud weight.
They will drill this side track and sample it asap, SM stated sampling as a priority.
I personally think cutting off at 3400 will reduce most of the pressure problems and mean they can keep mud weight lower.
Low mud weight is the key imo helped by drilling more vertical as well.
This is the last roll of the dice.
After this, if a fail, it’s dilution oblivion or a poor farm in deal.
It’s now absolutely imperative they get a sample up.
