5000 PSI - Hmm, that sounds pretty high. Who else has that? Just a bit of Googling and got:
.1. Huge Arun field, Aceh, Sumatra.
2. Huge South Pars field, Iran/Qatar.
3. Texas' largest gas field, the Barnett Shale.
4. Bhola, Bangladesh: huge new field 700billion cf.
5000 psi is the very highest pressure the advertised anti- blowout gear can hold, I have been seeing. This so? Subsurface safety valves and surface safety valves, seem to have max resistance of 5000 psi, though pressure would be lower as it flowed out?
Can this mean that this could just be a very big find/field, like the above, and because of that they are struggling with the extreme pressure? This might need some exceptionally strong kit to hold?
From skimming the material out there suggests it, but there are more experienced heads than mine naturally. KiwiGeo for example. Are we being too harsh and not recognising that IVZ may be sitting on a giant?
I'm an amateur. DYOR of course but what thoughts?
