Read "a primarily water bearing interval as indicated from shows and uncalibrated log interpretation".
"Confirmation of the presence of hydrocarbons".......... interpretation of this statement depends on whether the sample they got was 1) 100% gas or 2) gas cut water. This is where the ambiguity exists.
Note also that IMO C1 heavy chromatograph breakdown further indicates that the gas in the chamber is residual gas from a water wet zone.
