Cheers @Kiwigeo8339. But to use your own words of late - that doesn’t gel with me.
He was very specific in the webinar that the only reason the water sample was successful was because it was above the zone of differential sticking.
But in reality we think it was because they couldn’t get the tool on drill pipe any lower due to poor hole conditions, coal ledges, washouts, etc. in the Upper Angwa. And this was the deepest they could get to without damaging the tool.
So why didn’t he say that? It’s another misleading comment from him. Unless the zone of differential sticking is actually within the same zone as some problematic coal ledges and washouts at the top of the Upper Angwa?
The only reason I’m going on about this is because it’s important for working out our probability of success. Both for the likelihood of encountering differential sticking in the first place. But more importantly whether we have any chance of getting the tools in on drill pipe without damaging them.
