I wonder if Scott has been approached by any Chinese companies yet.
China has to import 94% of their helium, from countries like the USA and Australia, which they can't be very happy about. I'm sure they would want to secure their own supply of helium.
We know the Chinese are good at planning ahead. They built and paid for Zimbabwe's new parliament building. They are now involved in lithium mining in Zimbabwe, but they need power.
With Renergen's helium discovery in South Africa, it was a US agency that funded the building of their pilot plant, which hasn't produced any helium yet because they discovered a leak, which has been repaired now. But any helium produced will go straight to the USA. They've approved the funding for building Renergen's main bigger plant.
But as Scott said, IVZ is not focused on helium. If they find it, it will be a nice to have. But I think if they do find commercial quantities of helium, it opens up alternate avenues for funding, because helium is a strategic resource..
