Do we need more gas or would an oil discovery be better?
Only reason I pick on Boabab 1 is our financial position. A 1200m well would take 3 weeks tops and cost sub 15 million imo.
The other thing to consider is time.
The reality is they need to drill the well outside SG this year as I don't know if starting the well before end of June meets the requirement of the lease??
To me it would seem that deepening MK2 is the priority followed by BB 1 then 3D.
Last thing we want or need is to get in to any position with the Gov that requires extensions because we haven't concluded the work programme.
Whilst I do not believe they would do anything stupid without reason IF we gave them a reason who knows??
I don't trust the gov to do the right thing regardless.....I don't really trust any gov to be fair.
