I think graphite sales are essential for the Hazer process to be economically competitive
In the interview with Alan Kohler around 6 months ago, GC gave some rough numbers for the cost to produce hydrogen from the various methods
SMR was USD2-3kg, and US4-4.50kg with CCS
Hazer process was USD3/kg with graphite sales offsetting costs, and USD4/kg without graphite sales.
Input costs vary a lot, with US HH gas price in the range of 3-4mmbtu, while in Asia its around USD8/mmbtu, and Methane from a waste water treatment plant that otherwise would have been flared could be free ?
