very low participation by retail investors
If I am reading the announcement correctly 650,000 eligible shareholders and only 11,000 participants.
That's only 2% participation rate.
I figure many retail investors sniffed a dog of a SPP and said "thanks but no thanks".
I think after serious dilution with the money effectively flying out the door but with the increased shares on issue permanently hampering future EPS,
IAG will have a difficult road ahead, no more market darling rock star valuation.
Shares could still fall further
