it's the standard in governance, but I'm not sure that that makes it "good". and tbh it's misrepresentative because aside from his pay, if the share price goes up to 22c then shareholders get a 10% pc return on investment, but his is significantly more in relative terms so they may be aligned but not linearly.
it's not far off real estate agents in a tough market talking the vendor down by 10k on asking - only costs them $220 in commissions so it's not as important to them.
cue all the real estate agents following this thread to jump on and shout me down.....
