Sad to see IFN leave the ASX - not a lot of local renewables options out there. Iberdrola will do very well out of this acquisition over the medium
and long term IMO, they got IFN at a moment of weakness. And it’s another reminder of the dangers of investing in a company where the controllers don’t have sufficient skin in the game (ie KMP and Board). They did not cover themselves in glory here - on the contrary I believe they handled the whole takeover process quite poorly.
