We received an email wanting to discuss the bid from Iberdrola. I assume you have as well.
I responded with the reasons why I thought the company was way undervalued. I included the poor valuation prior to the market drop from the virus shutdowns and the fact that IFN is very insensitive to the effects of lock-down and it's highly defensive nature.
I also outlined all the improvements made to the asset mix and strategy. I finally said there was an intangible value in owning an Australian renewable company given the transition to renewables in the coming years.
I suggested they should offer scrip and cash so we can benefit from the growth of IFN under a new owner.
