I'm still cautiously optimistic that we could see a bid from Shell. Given they acquired ERM for $617 million which has a huge C&I retail portfolio and some gas assets, and have been looking to construct additional generation themselves, it would be crazy for them to not be considering a bid given the bargain basement price. I have my fingers crossed that they are putting something together in the background.
