Who said they were here for the short term? Most on HC are long termers researching the long term equity of their investment. Also, we're here to find oil in case you missed the project icewine briefing. Announcement states positive outlook so far, so why wouldn't that lift an SP as it has done already?

I actually disagree re: the chances of a farm in. I believe that oil price recovery is inevitable and later this year we will see a significant return to cost. My beliefs predictions aside, why would a JV partner wait until oil has recovered to set up shop? Why wait for bidding wars you could lose to bigger boys when you could get in while oil reserves are undervalued and sell later when they aren't? Any company predicting a significant rebound over the next year or two would be stupid not to at least consider the current opportunities to farm in with explorers while POO is cheap and rigs aren't being used.
