Lets flip your point of view.
If someone plays every day for 25 years striaght and doesnt spend a cent, ICI will make no money for in app purchases.
There is a reason why Masketeers had multiple price sensitive ANN updates on the Purchase Average Revenue being $25.99 per paying player.
Retention is only aspect of a successful, profitable game. You also need players and a soild purchase revenue.
...And yes I have played the game.
