I'm not totally sure but there is also a case to be made for some accumulating. Bots managing the close to be down a pip at every close is not something you would do if you were exiting. Also the pattern of trading, plenty of opportunity to buy up the price with small outlay, but not happening, rather the opposite is happening with buys getting pulled and relatively large sell orders coming in to line wipe small remaining amount. Genuine sellers then forced to back of the queue on that line or sell at the buy offer. There is generally not much buying prior to a pending updated and 4C in any stock so easy to move it down and shake the tree.
