I like sniper zombie. This games is pretty successful. There are a few elements in clawstars thats similar to sniper zombies.
1) cross promotion own game using advertisement
2) one off purchase (big or small amount)
3) membership fee for additional features/items
4) player to player interaction
It also makes players to have that "just give me one more turn" feeling like the PC game civilisation. You either buy claws or watch ads to earn claws
I am not surprised for the increase in revenue for masketeer either. The advertisement in Clawstars promotes masketeer and the monetisation has changed a little.
