Just got back from a game of golf, BPT looking like its finding some strong support around these levels. The sellers seem to be losing there dominance of late. Every time they try to push it down the buyers come in and push it back. I think once this week is finished and the retail offer is done and dusted then the SP will recover, afterall who's best interest is it that the SP goes up? the under writers!
I think Beach will be in a strong position being fully funded for the next 2 - 3 years. Beach will be spending about $200m over the next couple of years on their unconventional shale gas targets. The way I see it is $200m is the price to pay for Beach to see whether they have gas which could propel them into one of Australia's largest Energy companies.
