Its about being patient. The ICSID is essentially locking both parties into their decision and it's absolutely brilliant. Once the 45 days are up, both parties need to agree there is no negotiation on the outcome of the annulment process. It is binary, either:

1. Tanzania pays in full, or
2. we allow the reimbursement of Tanzania any monies secured through enforcement corresponding to the annulled portion of the Award.

If they don't respond, within 45 days, the annulment process is terminated and IDA gets to take action to recover what is owed.

So if you think Tanzania will be successful in the annulment process, take the appropriate action regarding your holdings. If you think IDA will be successful, sight tight. The full award will be paid and even if it does take 6 months, IDA is earning interest at around 10%pa on this money. Its a no brainer for me!
