I never understand why some people get hyped up and buy on the day of news. This has happened so many times: market overreaction to news, new people buy in only to get burned, and yet it keeps happening again and again.
For me, if I haven't got myself a position before a surge, I would hate myself for missing on a great train but will walk away and try to find other trains before the hype kicks in.
