Yes, all CEO's get paid well, but that is the problem. Only the good, successful CEO's should get paid well.
In my opinion, no manager, from the CEO down, should get a single share or option in their salary package unless they can demonstrate that they have created significant shareholder value.
Why is it OK to pay a bog average manager bonuses, shares, or options if they are not outperforming their peers?
