However, I would expect that the Australian super industry would be largely unaffected by the tariffs etc. (maybe through a bit of a global growth downturn, but probably a few steps removed). .

There are guaranteed increases in funds going into Super, with it going to 12.5% and through pay increases already built into awards for the next couple of years. So maybe the bidders will see this as a safer industry than many others for the next few years.

Also, the Aussie dollar has fallen around 5% in the last week/month, so their bids are more affordable.

So, I am hopeful that the bids will remain on track and I feel that $5 after the last few days will be a great result.

This market down turn mean IFLs FUM are less? If so IFLs business is worth less?
