One good example of a "silly thing" being written here is that John Wylie has no special or extra connections in this industry. In fact it was comical to read that. Regardless, he just tipped ~$40 million more in for 10 million additional shares because he thinks the business is worth it.
The only thing that will disappoint me about seeing a takeover go ahead here is having to share the windfall profits with serial pessimists and repetitive downtalkers with clearly limited insight and a persistently negative outlook. They almost sound like they work for the bidders.
