You can’t buy on market at under your bid prove however no formal binding bid has been made so I suspect it’s legal. Also have seen situations where another party its on behalf of a bidder at under a bid price to then on sell to a bidder. Market is behaving as though there is a significant risk of no binding $5 bid. GLTAHs
