Hi silsol, yes it could be someone looking to block the bid, particularly if it goes over the bid price, as I don’t think the takeover applicants can buy for in excess of the offer price, otherwise they have to increase the offer is my understanding, I assume that also applies to scheme of arrangements but not sure.
