This is clearly a waiting game to try and shake out the nervous nellies at between 48 to 50c, SP. The take over offer is significant in that nobody would be making it unless the company was sitting on significant resource. Sure some would see it as spare change for a company worth 10B MC but nobody hands over that type of money for nothing. Time will tell either way but personally I would be surprised not to see this run or for a higher offer to come on the table.
