Hi Malvernmoe, I guess it was hard for them to do much about the macro issues, other than getting on with the scoping study, mining licencee etc . But yeh, the big boys are good at lobbing take over offers in when share prices are at a low level, makes the premium look good and places Directors in a difficult position on whether to accept or not, given their obligation to look after shareholder interests (thus why it’s dependent on the independent expert report confirming its in the interest of shareholders).
Anyway, will be interesting to see how it plays out, all the best.
