Wow - that is indeed a modest offer from IGO, if they pull this off it will be a pretty good deal for them. My WSA have done nothing for me but I also fortunately also hold IGO and they have performed well. As usual - had the fundamentals and the broad thesis ok but timing was way too early. Time for the numpties at BHP to wake from their slumber, they have had to be dragged kicking and screaming to the potential benefits of Nickel all the way back from the WMC acquisition and I'm thinking that there must have been a lot of internal politics and soul-searching at BHP about Nickel over the years but will be interesting to think if they are capable of acting in a timely manner on this one.

Seems everyone wants to be in Nickel but not many out there prepared to stick some drill holes in the ground to make it happen.
