The wording in the announcement could have been clearer for non-scientific leaning readers, IMHO.

Here's what I take from the announcement:

Concussed rats treated with IHL-216A recovered (at 24 hours post injury) to a point where there was no difference with rats who were not concussed (Sham) rats. The p-value of 0.5855 indicates that there is no difference between the concussed and treated with IHL-216A rats and un-concussed rats.

In essence, it shows that IHL-216A works and rapidly brings the concussed rats back to normal function, at the same level of function shown by the Sham rats.

All my opinion. Would be interested to see the clinical/scientific paper.
