This indicated a very high level of confidence. This now puts IHL onto the international stage. I think the odds of success have just risen dramatically…. "An interim analysis of the data from IHL’s ongoing phase 2b double blind randomised placebo-controlled clinical trial was performed and these results have been included in the patent applicationto support the claims ." And ethics approval has been received to extend the OSA study. You can bet that this has been on the back of evidence. Ethics approval is not easy to get. "The open label extension study will recruit people who have experienced a benefit from IHL-42X in the phase 2b trial and will assess the therapeutic benefit and tolerability of IHL-42X in those patients over an extended timeframe." And…. "The main goal of this study is to determine whether thereduction in AHI that was observed for these subjects in the phase 2b study is maintained over an extended period." This is an extremely positive indicator on how the trials are going. Outstanding work by the IHL team to develop what may be one of the most significant medical breakthroughs at a global level.
