Hi @comincon quite possible a synagistic approach could be looked at. The respiratory and heart impacts from a seizure have similar outcomes with OSA where both breathing and heart rate increase prior to the breathing stopping. If a co-modulating effect from the OSA treatment reduces these aspects which is indicated by the recent data it is highly likely to reduce risk for where there is a central neural stop or is overloaded and breathing stops and then induces stress on the heart which may lead to a fibrilation issue. Just my opinion but worth taking up with someone above my pay level. I am sure that is why Terry O'Brien's inclusion of epilepsy end points were included particularly where there is a high of current drug resistance.
