Reon,correct.Also there are a myriad of drugs used for anxiety already out there.Yes,some have side effects,and so do heaps of medicines.The trial is only 72 people,but you have start somewhere.With these things,you have to get to the grass roots of who will be prescibing them.Go to your doctor and ask if these drugs get to market,will he/she prescribe them?No different to medical cannabis.Most doctors wont prescribe them to you,as there is too many ramifications,eg,police laws,insurance for your car,the list doesnt end there.
I posted awhile ago about sleep apnea.As I previously mentioned,been using the gold standard cpap mask for about 12 years now.Whilst some other things may work,if the medical world and government dont authorise it,it means nothing,as your deemed not compliant,and therefore(here in South Australia),it means no licence.Evening if you take certain drugs the transport department gets your doctor to fill in a form each year.Is any doctor going to sign your form for your licence if your on these drugs,and secondly are the government transport departments going to give you a licence if your on these drugs?Will insurance companies give you car insurance?We already have drug testing on our roads now,so can anyone answer yes to these questions?
I'm not here to rain on the parade.It's great people are making money(that's what we are here for),and it's great that alternative things are emerging,but will they get through the red tape,and be prescribed.If the answer is no,then no sales.We are very conservative in Australia,and so is the medical field.
