Malka is correct it’s based on the exact formulation. I’ve been in Pharma and know that they give 7 years to protect the companies that do all the R&D. Then the generic products generally move into the market. That time frame gives plenty of room for $$$$$$ in the door. Post 7 years many continue using he drug as they don’t understand the generic option.
The fda approval of this drug is basically a write your own cheque moment. I’m confident this will happen based on previous outstanding results.
