Drugs on the market and being widely prescribed are at such a massive advantage over a treatment that is years away from manufacture, that I think people are being awfully cavalier about this. The bizarre idea that IHLs candidate will just be preferred is extremely blinkered and I would suggest reflects a cognitive trap.
The rapid rise in profile of the medication over the last 3 years has absolutely contributed to people using it to help treat OSA - yes, there's no specific indication for this, but off-label use is common and weight loss is one of the best treatments for the underlying causes of OSA. Certianly, more so than pure symptomatic relief.
