My view(having worked directly for Bevan). Rob was pushed out. Bevan doesn’t mess about when it comes to executing on tough decisions.
For the company to move forward a clear leadership change needed to take place. It would have been messy politically internally with possible factions taking place within various departments.
Matt has impressed the board and Bev with significant strategic change across the the business. Intelli HR has the potential to be a billion dollar plus business, Bevan has invested heavily, Bevan doesn’t fail. Bevan is always the smartest guy in the room.
The simple idea of a SAAS business with upfront payments is brilliant, increasing prices across the board with minimal customer push back speaks volumes for the product.
Rob continually screwed up when it came to capital management, managing financial expectations and investor relations.
This is IMO. Watch this space!!!
