Three reasons....
1. Most investors don't understand the technology (and how long it takes to bring to market) and can't envisage the market opportunity.
2. When stocks don't do much people take their money out and put it somewhere else.
3. Some take the punt that the stock will go lower and sell out with the intention of buying back in lower (high risk).
Very simple.
