The facts: 1. Even the Universities acknowledge the rorting by training providers and some applicants overstaying. Remember the dodgy colleges disappearing and leaving students high and dry? 2. This had to be cleaned up by better controlling course accreditations and tightening visa approvals. 3. Having created or avoided the problem when in power (like energy, the Pacific, defence etc) the LNP want to exacerbate the problem by scaremongering about migration when in Opposition 4. The departments ARE taking too long to issue visas (partly because most government departments were left in a complete mess). This is transitory.
