A bit of a reality check guys and girls:
AI Data Innovations doesn't seem to be that much of a global business. It has locations in Bellevue WA and Charlotteville GA. Does it really operate in 200 markets with a global workforce of 300,000+ people and coverage of over 100 languages. (That was one of their clients, not them). They also claim on their website that it has resources as vast as nations. Wow!
Digging a bit deeper, their website looks more like they are a minor player with 35 employees, some of which are HR, admins, contractors and a good number also work for iSoftStone (so a bit of double counting there with NET's previous iSoftStone announcements). Some of the skills AI Data claim to have include Microsoft Office, Excel, Powerpoint, speaking English and customer service. Looks like they founded in Dec 2011, but produced nothing in their archive until 2017.
What they do looks to me like very general IT / data analytics stuff, nothing particularly sophisticated at all. Their specialities are listed as dataset creation, data labelling, annotation, data enrichment, search relevance, speech data collection, speech transcription, linguistic services, crowdsourcing, data collection, image tagging, facial data collection, machine learning, artificial intelligence, content moderation, human in the loop (WTF is that?), and training data.
Can they leverage NET into a vast client market of all those many "different Industry Verticals including Autonomous Vehicles, Smart City Transportation and Traffic Data Process Systems"? Hmmm.... not sure about that.
As for "the portability of a USB in any device that has a port". Haven't USBs been portable for the last 20 years? Leading edge tech? Seriously? Brett: On what basis are you thinking that over next 12 months Net could put out over 100 million of this usb device in China alone let alone the rest of the world. Any facts supporting this or are you just making it up?
Much of the NET announcement reads like its "gunna happen". Surprise, surprise. Typical NET. It's more of a puff piece talking up a minor arrangement with a very minor player. Lots of inferences of huge things to come such as revised revenue forecast towards the end of the year, but no subscriptions, no contracts, no details, no facts. Strong sales pipeline? Based on what? Will they really generate any recurring revenue from subscriptions, because that's all that matters here?
Pump and dump scenario again? Put out a rumour of big things, again, and watch the fish bite.
Call me old fashioned, but I prefer to invest based on facts not pie in the sky fabrications. I took off the rose coloured glasses a long time ago with this mob. I just want my money back.
