Profitability of the battery business was not addressed properly. Three wheelers are not Tesla, it just needs the battery of the size and voltage and dump it into the battery holder. It's almost simple that way. And while there are geopolitical tensions from time to time, India buy heaps of things from China. Three wheeler battery got to be cheap for some one earning $5/day to hop on for a long ride.
