Anyone who has anything to do with major procurement will tell you that supply chain issues are a day to day proposition atm. Not something that can be forecast months - or even days ahead. All machinery will no doubt have microcontroller systems, which will be subject to fluctuating delays as things progress. One of my major suppliers has stretched to 270 days. I heard anecdotal comments in a meeting just today of another major supplier at 400 days. So, to be only 5? weeks behind is to be commended.
