As we know from previous experience, no news means nothing is happening, and in this case IBX have been deliberately opaque by either avoiding the questions asked by holders or not replying.

The last update to the ANZCTR register was Feb 26 which predates that March 1st first enrolment so who knows. I don't know what reasons the company could have to deliberately withhold and muddy the waters surrounding this.

But if you want to know what's happening don't bother waiting for IBX to communicate, just keep checking the ANZCTR site as the actual first date will be listed when it happens. ANZCTR are running four weeks behind for trial updates which somehow (sadly) is better than Imagion can manage.

The register also lists the Austin hospital as the second site.

Eventually we will get an update on the ANZCTR site as to when that first enrolment happened and then we can get an idea of how bad the delay is with the trial.

The trial is to enrol at least 10 and up to 30 patients, the company has said they'd like 15, so at least by aiming low that should shorten the trial timeframe. Though if there isn't enough data to create a statistically significant result after 10-15 patients more will be needed.

There is also a timepoint at 28 days so that's at least how long it would take to provide an assessment on the effects of the injection on a patient (someone suggested 'a couple of weeks' earlier).

Bob has said nine months will be needed which puts the completion date at the end of August. The ANZCTR site suggests this could actually be December. Ultimately until patients can be found and tests carried out, no one knows how long it could take to get a statically significant result.
