Rossing uranium mine which has been operating for decades has a cut off grade of 100ppm.. I don't think that's "commercially worthless".. in fact Rossing probably making good money with current uranium price
EL8 has advantage of the deposit being shallow.. 90% of the Uranium is less than 15m deep.. so therefore it is super cheap to extract, essentially digging (no rock blasting, etc)
This isn't Athabasca Basin where you get highest grades in the world but the deposit is 500m+ underground and really expensive to extract the uranium
