The negative equity premium of having DM run the company was recently expressed clearly, of circa 40-50%. The news of Infineon & the delay were both no where close to making a sizable contribution to this negative equity impact (the botched raise DM was responsible for). The market spoke clearly and this math is difficult to be challenged. So basically he carries a drag of the company of close to half of the current market value. If his ego was out of the way and he could accept this, he stands to make the most from stepping down as he is a very large holder, if not the largest.
