I was at a recent healthcare conference overseas and microbiome (both gut and lung) remains a hot topic for a range of disorders. What was striking was how early the science still is and how far away the understanding is for how the microbiome influences the development of diseases. But I do believe that gut therapeutics that influence microbiome are going to be important over the next 5-10 years and having products in the market (and hopefully fda approved) that work in this space will mean that IMC is an interesting prospect. I don't understand the current valuation and have been happy to pick up more at these prices given balance sheet strength and post covid uptick in sales. But I have had to be patient with this company because things move at glacial pace generally. DYOR
