Under a deal negotiated in May, Immuron agreed to pay about $100 million in cash and scrip for privately owned biotechnology company Vaxine, which was founded by Nikolai Petrovsky.
He is an endocrinologist at Flinders Medical Centre and professor of medicine at Flinders University, and has received about $1 million in funding from the federal government for his work on vaccines.
Petrovsky has published more than 200 peer-reviewed research papers, including on novel vaccines against COVID-19, influenza, hepatitis B, sting allergy, malaria, Japanese encephalitis, dengue, Ebola, tuberculosis, anthrax, RSV and HIV. But his decision to launch clinical trials for his protein-based COVID-19 vaccine in Iran appears to have cruelled his efforts to gain funding and a stock exchange listing.

Also in the ASX IMC announcements on 24/9 re Director Resignation Chairman Roger Aston said:
