Yes, you’ve got to know your strengths and weaknesses.
I think they have managed the science and trial side of things extremely well. The brains here are exceptional. But the interface between that and shareholders and the market has been lacking. It requires real skill and expertise to manage the messaging to maximize share holder value. If the market recognizes that you have skill in this area they will reward it. Mostly, the market is pretty clueless about what is going on at the science level. They rely on how that is presented. Which is why I scratched my head that Immutep lead with the most negative aspect of AIPAC first in its first presentation. Unsurprisingly that message penetrated the market and Immutep is leading with the same sentiment expressed on its home page by an analyst report. It’s got to be sell sell sell and positive messaging amped up all the time. Negative stuff should be buried down the page. That’s what success companies do!
